Purple Party Weekend is a charity weekend put on by the all-volunteer Purple Foundation in Dallas, Texas. Purple Foundation was founded in 2001 and has donated more than $1,335,000 to local LGBTQIA+ programs and services since its inception.

Every year, Purple Party Weekend has gotten bigger and better by specifically listening to feedback from participants from the previous year. The weekend centers around a single host hotel, where the weekend’s three pool parties and after parties take place. This makes the host hotel a must-stay for this event (and be sure to buy it early as it sells out usually the first day reservations open!). Other parties include three primetime parties and a Sunday tea dance. In all, you get 11 parties from Thursday to Monday morning, so it’s definitely a packed weekend.

Like we mentioned earlier, the host hotel is a must for this event as much of the party attendees stay in the hotel, which means you get easy access to the pool and after parties. They also have a shuttle bus system that will take you to and from the off-site main party venue locations (comes included with a VIP Everything Pass or as an additional add-on for a fee).

Purple has been booking a solid slate of DJs for the busy weekend and has some really great venues for the nighttime main events. The production of the events is really very well done and because of this, Purple Party Weekend is becoming one of the great events on the yearly circuit.

Purple Party Weekend has many pass and ticket options available, including VIP Everything, primetime only, pool parties only and individual ticket options. Make sure to look at their chart that shows what each pass offers as there are a whopping six different pass types available for purchase!
