I started playing records in 1996 during happy hour shifts at Oz Nightclub in New Orleans. One Saturday, I had to fill in for the peak hour DJ. The following week, I got promoted to Saturday Night resident. My name grew from there.Â
I’m a genuine lover of so many genres of house music – vocals, progressive house, peak hour bangers. I tend to forget about genres as long as a record has a hook that pulls me in.
The crowd interaction and seeing people respond positively on the dance floor. Being connected to so many people through music, many of whom I’ve never met, is a powerful thing, and never gets old.
