I originally started off playing lead guitar in a death metal band and after hearing Peter Rauhofer play at the Roxy in NYC, I abandoned metal in pursuit of dance music. And I started off initially by securing a job at Peter’s label star 69 in their distribution and marketing department.
It’s hard to give you a straight up answer to this, I’ve never done good with labels. Most of my influence comes from tech house and old style big room house.
