Toronto Pride

2026 Dates: Thursday June 25 to Sunday, June 28 (Official Website)

There’s a reason Toronto Pride has earned its place as one of the most celebrated events on the planet. Canada’s largest festival and the second largest Pride in the world, Toronto Pride is a multi-week spectacle of culture, joy, and resistance that draws people from across the globe. If you haven’t made your plans yet, now is the time.

The Theme: We Won’t Stop

Pride Toronto has unveiled “We Won’t Stop” as the official 2026 Festival theme — a powerful follow-up to last year’s “All In.” While “All In” celebrated the strength, unity, and collective spirit of the community, “We Won’t Stop” takes that momentum further, reminding us that the fight for freedom, inclusion, and recognition is ongoing.

“We Won’t Stop is both a promise and a call to action,” said Kojo Modeste, Executive Director of Pride Toronto. “It reflects our collective determination to keep showing up for one another, to protect the progress we’ve made, and to continue demanding a world where 2SLGBTQI+ communities can live freely, safely, and authentically.”

It’s a rallying cry we can all get behind.

When & Where

Toronto Pride 2026 runs from Thursday, June 25 through Sunday, June 28, capping off a month-long celebration throughout June. The month kicks off with an official flag-raising ceremony at City Hall, and culminates in the high-energy festival weekend, which includes the Trans March, the Dyke March, and the iconic Toronto Pride Parade.

The massive Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, June 28th — the crown jewel of the weekend and an absolute must-see. Pro tip: take the TTC. Don’t even think about driving near the Village.

The Pride Toronto Street Fair runs Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, featuring vendor spaces with community organizations, local businesses, artisans, food trucks, live music, and more.

The Circuit Scene: Prism

For the circuit scene, Toronto Pride means one thing above all else: Prism Festival.

Running across the full Pride festival weekend, Prism has been running since 2008 and has grown exponentially in size and scope, attracting an international audience.

Prism brings the biggest names from the international DJ circuit to Toronto, together with the hottest parties from Europe and beyond. Each year the theme changes, ensuring a fresh experience for return visitors. The production value is consistently on another level — think massive venues, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, stunning stage shows, and a crowd that knows how to move.

Prism hosts four days and nights of circuit events and parties, running Thursday, June 25 through Sunday, June 28. Venues have included Rebel Nightclub — a 45,000 square foot club with incredible light and sound — and Cabana, the multi-million-dollar pool bar and outdoor space at the Harbourfront. This year’s theme is Beyond the Thunderdome: A Mad Max Saga. Keep an eye on the Prism website and socials as the 2026 lineup and full schedule are announced.

Beyond the Circuit

Toronto Pride is so much more than parties. Don’t miss the Dyke March and Trans March — they are powerful events leading up to the main parade. The city’s LGBTQ+ bars and clubs — from the legendary Woody’s to Crews & Tangos and Buddies in Bad Times — are alive with Pride energy all weekend long.

Festivities extend beyond downtown Toronto to include Scarborough, North York, and Etobicoke, making this a truly city-wide celebration.

Getting There & Staying Close

The Church-Wellesley Village is the heart of it all. Staying in or near the Village puts you walking distance from the parade route, the street fair, and all the nightlife. Book accommodations early — in 2025, more than 2.4 million people came together for Pride Toronto, and hotel availability goes fast.
